We started our digitalization journey from the Ecosoft’s sales office in Germany. The ERP system had to be implemented in accordance with the European standards, in German and together with the staff in the local office. With our implementation partner, SMART business, we quickly and successfully performed this transition.
We were looking for a platform that would maximize the automation of interaction with partners, provide technological capabilities for the development of new tools for working with their systems and help improve the quality of our service.
Of course, any new project comes with challenges and unexpected hiccups. But the expert support from the SMART business team was always timely – and most importantly, effective. We even managed to complete deployment three days ahead of the deadline, which was a great success.
PSP has 2 warehouses in Georgia, one located in Tbilisi with an area of approximately 15,000 m2, and the other in Kutaisi with an area of 2,000 m2. During the system implementation, it was important to place approximately 25,000 brand-name medications on appropriate trays and assign them unique barcodes to indicate the medication’s location, expiration date, and batch number. Along with aligning the data, the biggest challenge was to ensure continuous warehouse operation without interruption. Parallel to the implementation, the warehouse operation could not be interrupted, as the main task was to ensure the continuous and timely supply of products to 300 pharmacies and partner companies.

In this tool, we got all the features we were missing. Finally, we can tailor it to our needs and fully integrate with Microsoft products. Previously, we had to manually extract reports, but now you open Power BI and get online data in the form of dashboards. At the same time, SMART Sales turned out to be not too complex for the salespeople and easy for new employees to master.
One of the key prerequisites for the project was the need for a unified integrated platform that could connect 500 employees across different cities in Ukraine. SmartPoint Intranet, based on Microsoft 365, was selected following our internal procurement process, which considered SMART business’s expertise in corporate solutions implementation and our trust in Microsoft technologies
